- Province IDs are now shown in province details and search results
- Province and country selections now move smoothly into the visible map area on mobile
- Search now finds countries by name or tag and opens them in Country Focus
- Timeline buttons now move directly to the previous or next available historical date
- Province and country information sheets on mobile can collapse to show more of the map

- A timeline for moving between available historical snapshots
- Province details covering ownership, culture, religion, geography, alternative names, and recorded changes
- Search by province name or alternative historical name
- Country Focus for examining a country's cultural composition and related cultures beyond its borders
- Automatic country and province labels with manual visibility controls
- Shareable links that retain the selected date, view, province, and country focus
- PNG export of the visible map with an optional frame and title
